A big wedding can often feel overwhelming and daunting, even a small wedding can get super stressful when you realise all the aspects needed for the day. A part of the reason why we decided to create our all inclusive elopement package was to relieve the stress we often see when couples are madly trying to compile each aspect of their wedding smoothly. We’ve taken the guess work out and have created a package that includes all the essentials for your day.
Imagine having a photographer, a celebrant, florals and wedding bands all taken care of by three folks who work seamlessly together, who’s vibe is your vibe. There’s only cohesion between the vendors because we work as a team.
So let’s delve a little deeper into who we are and what we deliver when you book the elopement package.
Kicking things off with Emmy, our wonderful celebrant.
Emmy creates the most beautiful ceremonies, she’s extremely caring in her work. One couple recently described her as a “wedding doula” which we think describes her perfectly. Emmy is always picking up on the vibes of our couples.
Guests and couples are often commenting how memorable the ceremony is and how it fits the couples personality perfectly. Emmy is amazing at reading the room and can improvise if the situation warrants.
Once you book the elopement package, you will be put in touch with Emmy. She will guide you through the legal process of getting married—from the initial questionnaire and legal requirements to the ceremony itself. Yes, there’s paperwork; you can’t avoid that, but Emmy will make it less daunting.
The package includes a ceremony specially created by Emmy for elopements: a shorter version of the full love story you’d get at a larger wedding. If that still feels like too much, you can choose legals-only. Emmy can also suggest different ways the day can unfold—for example, you might complete the legal requirements in the morning, then enjoy the celebrations without needing to step away from your guests.
Emmy has a unique gift for weaving love stories. Expect laughter and possibly tears, but above all a heartfelt, memorable ceremony that is truly yours.
Once Emmy has got the ball rolling Sky will be in touch to organise your wedding bands. Whilst there are wedding bands included in the elopement package you can opt to not have them. We understand some couples may already have their wedding bands organised, this is totally fine! If you have bands already let us know upon booking and we’ll adjust the package accordingly.
Sky is a talented silversmith who creates heirloom worthy pieces. Included in the package are sterling silver wedding bands, finished to your preference. If sterling isn’t your thing there is the option of upgrading to gold. Sky will walk you through the entire ordering process, making it easy to get your dream bands. Sky will have you sized and expertly craft your wedding bands, you can even personalise each others bands making them a truly unique keepsake.
Sky’s talents don’t stop there, not only is she a talented silversmith, she is also a passionate flower farmer. The beauty of working directly with your flower grower means we can plant the flowers specially for your wedding. The varieties and colour palette can be pre planned. Sky farms in a sustainable way, no chemicals or pesticides are used and nothing is wasted. The floral confetti that is included in the elopement package is made by carefully drying the spent flowers grown on the farm. A perfect alternative to commercially made and biodegradable paper confetti.
Whilst we are still on the subject of flowers, Asha also grows as well, but in a much smaller capacity, specialising in dahlia growing and breeding. Since we have created this package Asha has developed a natural love for floral design and creates the bridal bouquets, button holes and table displays that are included in the elopement package. With Sky’s help upgrades are available which can include large display features and arbour arrangements. Our style is natural and rustic, with our signature native foliage mixed with an array of flower varieties, some native, some not. We will always cater to your preferences, we love to mix things up and experiment with different designs and textures.
All the flowers used for our weddings are grown by us.
With all the pieces in place, the day has arrived and Asha is ready to capture the magic. There’s something really special about photographing elopements that you just don’t get with big weddings, there is a calmness. There is no need to rush off and join your guests, you can relax and get the photos you’ve always dreamed of. Included in the package is two hours of photography, how you use that time is completely up to you. We could snap photos of you getting ready prior to the ceremony or having tequila shots at the local pub. the choice is yours.
From the get go Asha will guide you through what to expect on your elopement day and bring a relaxed vibe to your day. No one wants to be stressing about photos on their wedding day, Asha makes the entire process relaxed and fun as possible.
Clients often describe Asha as being a calm prescence at their wedding, being unobtrusive and masterfully capturing the candid moments.
Sneak peeks are delivered either on the day or the morning after, and full galleries are often delivered within the week. You will receive your images via a secure online gallery, this will remain open for an entire year for you to view and download your images. You can also order albums and prints directly from your online gallery.
That covers everything that is included in the package, all you have to do is decide where you’d like to get married. Here in Braidwood we have a wonderful array of stunning locations. We can get you in touch with these businesses upon request. You might want to get married atop your favourite mountain peak (we are hanging to do one of these!) or one of the south coasts stunning secluded beaches.
